Well, I don't usually view blogs and I write on them even less (well maybe some inane article on ESPN.com or gwinnettdailypost.com that requires comment). In any event, since Lenny invited me and given my current situation as it pertains to this particular blog, I thought I'd give it a shot.
ReplyDeleteI've read about the steps one typically goes through when they've lost their job (anger, anxiety, depression....etc.). But I really didn't go through those steps (I've been out of work for almost 3 weeks now). I jumped directly to immediately trying to find another job. Maybe that's not the best idea. I've listened to both sides: don't take any job right away just to have a job or take a job and then keep looking. I'm on the side of the latter. So I'm out there, feet on the street. My new job is finding a job. For what it's worth, I think that is a more productive use of my time than getting odd jobs done around the house while I'm waiting for the perfect job to come along. I don't know. We'll see.
